Does anyone have any information on how any of the unofficial visits went?

I am most interested in hearing about '21 John Poulakidas (4 star, 6'-5" SG) and '22 AJ Casey (5 star, 6'-8" PF). Also curious if the rumors that '21 Bryce Hopkins (4 star, 6'-6" PF) might visit were true?

From what I gathered on twitter and this forum, other unofficial visitors included:
'21 Ahamad Bynum (4 star, 6'-1" SG)
'21 Brandon Weston (6'-4" SF)
'21 Grant Newell (6'-6" PF)
'22 Jalen Quinn (6'-3" PG)
'22 Michael Zanoni (6'-4" SG)
'22 Xavier Lewis (5'-11" PG)

As an afterthought, and I admit my fault, . . . but I fear this could turn into an interminable 99 bottles of beer on the wall.

So if we are potentially adding:

Adam Miller
Andre Curbelo
Coleman Hawkins
Bernard Kouma

Who's leaving on the current roster? (Assuming Ayo goes pro)

Could potentially add a player in the spring if someone transfers, but at this point I would be surprised if it was Kouma.

Only 3 rides to give for next year:
Adding Miller to replace Ayo.
Adding Curbelo to replace Dre.
Adding Hawkins to replace Kipper.

Kipper and Feliz graduate, and presume Ayo declares. That's three rides. Let's see what else might happen.

Ayo & Feliz are huge losses. But, man, oh, man, Miller and Curbelo are flippin' fantastic adds! Huge hats off to the staff for landing these studs. Curbelo is the best pure point we've had since Deron. He may not be the scorer or athlete that Garris was, but he's a flat out baller. Can really run the offense. Super duper stoked.

I had the chance last weekend to watch Miller play a bit at the Jr National tryouts in Colorado Springs while I was doing some work with the USOC sports med team. He was the primary point guard during the drills and scrimmages I watched and looked really good doing so. I would agree that his shot is ahead of his ball handling game (but that's because his shot looked so smooth, ahead of how Ayo was shooting as a senior in my opinion). He was on the same team as Caleb Love, and the two played off each other very well in the backcourt. Their team dominated every time I came by to watch.
Yeah, we all know how good his shot is; and his explosiveness off the wing. He looked more effective at the 2 instead of the 1. His court vision and balancing between when to score and when to facilitate were his weaknesses. His ball handling at the 1 is average for the B1G right now. Obviously these skills can improve, but if you put him in a spot where you have a top flight true point guard; that combo will break down any defense in the B1G.

Could someone explain? lol
In trying to determine where limited scholarships would be awarded for the plethora of high-level talent, that surely was going to commit to The Illini, a poster suggested Crandall’s NBA brother pay his way. From then on, any over sign situation was solved by Luther potentially paying the recruits way through college.

I’m loving the good vibes, but I’m still waiting til they announce to proclaim them ours.
