Just said not to sleep on IU bro and also said I would still take the field. Wish I had better news but Kentucky was told he’s a go a few days ago.

While true, THT was an actual last minute change in decision. That may be the case here too. Hard to tell when insiders are getting conflicting information.

From a CB standpoint, regarding THT, of his 7 ISU CB's, 5 of the 7 changed within the last 4 hours of his announcement. You are correct with regards to Hopkins, if it's UI, CB's changes might not take place until a few hours before the announcement.

247's crystal balls are very much like buzztime trivia at BWW's - Pick your answer early for the most points, hold out as long as you can until you can't deny your answer is wrong, then change at the last second so you still score some points.

In retrospect easier to see where Groce went wrong. Start at his asst. coaches, they were neither great at teaching fundamental and developing players. They were also below average recruiters, they couldn't recruit at Illinois a historical top 15-20 program. Walker eas their top technical coach and recruiter, he was by far the wrakest one on BU's staff.

Groce's team lacked an identity on offense and defense. How many times did we see Malcolm Hill dribble while 4 guys stood around. With no identity/system he struggled to recruit the right guys, typically overloading on wings who couldn't dribble or shoot.

His teams often got blown out and played their best ball when Groce was on the hot seat. That was also when Groce seemed to rely less on his coaches.

Also tenure was impacted due to player discipline issues.

You got asked if you had a source and admitted that it was just your gut. Now you're trying to pretend like you're connected to the program. My gut is pretty legit too I won $487 in Vegas last year and I'm well on my way to buying my beach house back. Doesn't mean I have any clue where this recruitment is headed.
