I will take any recruiting talk (fact, embellished, or fiction) over any more discussion over the AMAZING coincidence that a few of the posters on this board have birthdays in mid-September, AND there are visits scheduled on some of those EXACT same days. It's just too interesting for my mind to handle.

info is info, you read it believe what you want, discard what you don't and move on to the next. If there was a rule to having to post only 100% true stuff wouldn't be much ever said on any board, since till school starts nothing is a for sure, even then its not always the case any more

Illini staff will probably fly into Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta and head to Fairburn, Ga where Landers lives (approximately 20 miles southwest of downtown) in ample time prior to the hurricane. The weather should not pose a problem. Atlanta has one plus - distance from the coast - but it will not be immune to receiving lots of potential rain. Irma may have final say what happens there, though, on their return flight.

We shouldn't get much down here in Atlanta until Monday morning - but we definitely could get hit with some serious storms. Maybe Underwood getting stuck with the Landers would make for some real bonding?

Agree with your assessment, lived in Tucker and worked at the CDC for several years. Bonding would be nice with Landers, but staff needs to not tarry too long and get back to Chicago to see Ayo and family on Monday, as well. :thumb:

Oh I understand completely and I participate in that too. But those of us who do nothing but that, should have a little more appreciation for the participation of the handful of people who have some level of knowledge. Without them, the board is much less interesting. At least to me. :thumb:

My first thought was great plan by BU. Have the in home. Have to hold out the storm with Nolley and family. Bond over the experience, and leave after the storm with the Verbal.
I hope this means that Conditt is having Iowa State and NM over to his house and telling them sorry but I am headed to ILL.
