Absolutely. I think Illinois wins this but it's going to be close. Wish we gotten Griffin because while he's not a "game changer" necessarily in the recruitment having another good Chicago player he's familiar with probably makes the pitch from Iowa St. somewhat stronger...

He tweeted about our guards and how good they were.. No doubt Underwood hammered that home to him. We have several great guards who will get him the ball in a position to succeed.

I wouldn't over analyze anything she throws on twitter. That young woman, like most young women, displays a wide spectrum of emotions on twitter towards Nolley. Long distance puppy love can be quite stressful.

Not that I had seen. I mean they may have DM'd back and forth some obviously but him publicly tossing that out there is obviously a good thing.

He does talk to Griffin a decent amount but a few months go when the Irvins were throwing shots at THT Conditt/THT/Griffin were all retweeting a lot of "don't care about the rankings" kind of stuff.

I sincerely doubt that's the case.

He had his official visit to UCSB this weekend. He lives in California, and two of the other schools on his list are Fresno State and Cal. It's very clear that the draw of playing in California was very strong.

He probably committed because he felt comfortable there.

We all would be ecstatic over this class...you especially since your player THT would be on board...

Since we lost Griffin, my new must have is Nolley, so we both have our favorites.:chief:

WE can both hope!!!:thumb:

My guess is the staff believes they are solid for at least one of Conditt or Castleton, or maybe even both.....if so, concentrate on them and Ayo and Nolley and THT.
