If you are saying that who in their right mind would give Cash the go ahead to steal a kids thunder, that is not how I read it. I take it to mean that cash got the word that it is a go with Landers.
This entire sight is about getting scoopes on information. That is the reason I am here. I don't assume anything is true until it happens. But Cash has been good with the info this year, so it does carry some weight.

Wasn't Nolley supposed to have an official to Georgia this weekend? Illinois supposedly had an in-home on Saturday? Did he not go to the Georgia visit?

Nolley has officials to VT starting Sept 29 and Georgia starting October 6. He's dropped Oklahoma State and UConn and added Georgia Tech and Georgia
State; no idea when or if he makes OV's to those 2 schools.
Someone had Landers in our class about 3-4 months ago. I didn't see him on our radar or even heard his name before. So someone heard something from the staff to mention him as one of our most likely commits eventhough he was pretty much an unknown on this board.

Really the key point is until "he signs". He has over 40 offers, but has stated that if UK, LVille, or UCLA come calling he will have to listen. He is one of the elite AAU shooters and will end up in the top 50-75, so with recruiting being fluid, if those "blue bloods" have a shooting need, don't be surprised if they get involved. That's why he will will delay his commitment.
BTW, NCState is supposedly his OV starting today.
He may be on an OV, but not to NCState.

I'll say it again. It's unnecessary to criticize somebody for posting information. It's ultimately up to each reader to determine how he/she deals with that information. If it's wrong, then blame yourself for buying it in the first place.
That said, if indeed the information was meant to be kept private, then you need to exercise a bit of responsibility in doing your part to honor the wishes of the parties involved -- ESPECIALLY the recruit and his family. Those who leak these decisions deprive these kids from having their moment. And why? To satisfy adults on a message board who can't wait a few extra weeks?
