I want him to reclass and sign quickly just so he isn't poached by someone else out there!

Fair enough. But (presumably) riding some significant pine might be a deterrent. In a vacuum with no insta-transfer portal and a sense of the long game, it makes total sense. In the context of today’s college bball environment, however...

Yes. No clue on which way he's leaning. If Miller transfers, things could get interesting.

Right now, there are 2 open scholarships, if Miller comes back (big if) and we get an PF, and Kofi comes back, there is no room. A lot of "ifs" there.

I wonder if the staff is waiting to offer/accept any certain player from the portal based on Miller? I would hope they have spoken and this isnt the case.

We have had conversations with every men's D 1 players in the transfer portal and are pleased to announce that we have received commitments from ALL the remaining players in the transfer portal....this is great news for our program and confirms the excitement being generated here in Tuscaloosa....

Well Wolf, there you have it...Coach Oats has shut down the transfer portal and stopped any further transferring of players ,EXCEPT to his program.....Reporting from Tuscaloosa, this is Chris Walken with CNN news....

I believe he indicated he went to prep school out west to work on his game and academics, so that makes sense.

Unfortunately, it seems you can be poached anytime, anywhere.
(at least until you've transferred once)

Inconveniently, since he picked the Illini we can’t use this as a red flag excuse why we didn’t want him.
