Correct, we need a big to put on the floor at the same time as Kofi/Payne. Something that we couldn't do with Giorgi and Kofi. Plus somebody to shoot the 3, since we were one of the league's worst 3 point shooters. Pretty simple choices, now just go through the portal and find, It will not come from the HS ranks.

I would personally rather see Coleman be the stretch guy. Coleman is a slight project but with some help from Fletch and another year in the system he could really blossom next year. To my eyes he has a fair handle, solid passing for his size, and will get more shooting confidence the more playing time he gets.

yeah, he had a very good freshman year at UNLV. left tech after three games for personal reasons. love his game, he can shoot it well and rebound.

For those asking about AJ Storr and re-classing, I talked to his mom and she said the staff is really waiting on Podz decision. If Podz comes then we really don't need another wing in this class with Goode/Melendez and Podz so he will decide to A) come to Champaign now and redshirt (if we have the ship) or go back to HS for another year. If anyone doubts his commitment to Illinois, stop right now. Dude is 110% committed to IL and is not a spotlight/selfish guy AT ALL. He wants to win and will do whatever BU asks him to do, including suit up this Fall or wait a year.
