Players seem to still be entering the portal at a steady rate. When will that activity slow down -- and is there a deadline for declaring? Or is it simply available 365 days a year?

I ask realizing that some of our own guys could still declare (hopefully not Curbelo and Kofi, and 8-9 others).
May 1st is the deadline to enter the portal I believe

Now he would be someone we need at this point on the roster. Hope they still have a connection with him. Very good stats with a good team. Go gettem staff.

Now we have sources close to the portal. Where is this portal exactly and how can one get so close?

It would be interesting to know if anyone on the staff checked this forum just out of curiosity. We have all kinds of good prospects they could discover ;-)

Good find Joel! If we lose one Miller we can get another?
We could do a lot worse, no doubt. There's a lot to like: 3 yrs of eligibility left, good skills, good athlete. No idea if we're in on him, but this is a kid you don't slow play (e.g., for Mitchell), IMO.

I think Hawkins and Miller could be a VG tandem at the 4. Not throwing in the towel on BBV either. Loaded teams stack their roster.

Would you rather have him or Ntambwe? Miller looks to be more of a “traditional” 4 and primarily scores around the basket while Ntambwe seems more of a stretch. Could see an argument for either.

I'd be good with either to be honest. Not sure how realistic either player is.

This kid Alfonso Plummer broke Klay Thompson's record for most 3's in a Pac-12 game. 👀 Wow! What a shooter!

These are just my vibes

1. We get Plummer and Frazier this weekend, Miller goes to UK, LSU, or Arizona.
2. Hamlin leaves sometime next week.
3. Within two weeks, Kofi announces he will once again test the NBA waters
4. We get an athletic big that can extend the floor a bit, not a bruiser (6"9" -6'11" range) by May 9th.

Await Kofi's decision for the summer, but should be in good shape next year. Overall longer, better shooting, and more athletic

Some VERY good news coming this weekend...may not be from just one guy either :sneaky:
How many times do we get to count Trent? Seems like this weekend will be a Trent return and an AM or Plummer announcement.

Interestingly Richey from News Gazette didn’t think Plummer and Frazier would co-exist. First I’d heard that, as most speculation was more related to TF back and Plummer vs AM.

Thoughts?
