An explosive 6'4 guard...with open growth plates??

One thing that probably helps us with Garcia is who wants to transfer to another school in the same conference? That's just awkward. I bet data shows it's not the norm

It’s not that uncommon…. I remember Wisky Micah Potter transferred from OSU

Maybe rarely isn't the word, but I don't think it's the norm. That's one example. I'd be curious to look at a large data sample

It’s down to us or UNC I think at this point Marquette is in the big east. We actually play Marquette this season.

Oh you're right. I don't know why I thought Marquette was in the ACC for a second lol

Chester coming up big already.

Would love to see AC go pro after next season. Being able to take players at the 50 rank and get them into the NBA after two seasons is huge. Selfishly, I'd like to watch him for the next three years, but will settle multiple SportsCenter top 10 plays while making NBA guys look silly.

This is a hell of a coaching staff.

The staff is getting into Indiana/Wisconsin and Ohio. Three states the hate our guts! My thanks go out to the 3 kids who have to live with the back-lash in their home states!

Joel Goodson

respect my decision™
If Curbelo is gone after this year that probably means we had a very good season, plus getting guys drafted back to back years is big for the program
Hopefully, we can get Gortman to wait it out. Love his game and athleticism. Long shot, to be sure, but he'd be a straight out of the box worthy successor to Papi.

Again, ...I appreciate what OA and Chin did for the Illini program....No question they helped Brad immensely in elevating the Illini back up the charts of being a power team on the rise, culminating with our high # rank and seeding in the Dance.....So thank you OA and Chin.....Good luck at UK.....you might wish you had made a different choice, but thats in the future...........

With that being said, and with the AC3 hire still to come, you really have to be impressed with what the staff has been doing as far as visits ,zoom , whatever they had to use......The 4 * commit today and the words he said about 1000 % committed and the program getting NBA looks , I am smiling at the direction I'm seeing with this change in staff could be the best for the continued rise back to where we belong.......

I love this board and the various topics….
85 graduate - bleeding O&B for 40 years.
Yesterday’s news of KC entering the portal created a pedestrian traffic jam on all bridges in CU.
One might have thought the world was coming to an end if they were just passing through.
Thank goodness for today and a 1000% committed ****.
Enjoy it today Loyalty, because tomorrow AC or Hutch may stub their toe and the program will be in shambles.
