This is a SLOW day.People are upset over this coaching search and have turned their back on IllinioisLoyalty for a while. The sting of losing all three AC's will take a while to get over. The transfer portal has dried up and fans get tired of recruits saying they LOVED the visit but go someplace else.. Kids play games with coaches/fans and read the forums to see the fans go nuts because they said it was a good visit.

Well, it means we are not an elite destination yet. And, although I figure you said that in just, in the long run losing coaches every year would lead to recruiting losses because it takes a few years to establish relationships with kids/parents/AAUs, etc....

My favorite part of that Twitter thread is the number of UK fans basically saying they all know Tiny Tim is a fool and makes stuff up.
This isn't just a one-sided decision. Either the G League or one of these other professional leagues has to think that these kids have a pretty shot to make it or else they wouldn't be paying them to play. And how many of the kids looking to take advantage of this option are planning on going to school for four years anyway. If anyone is taking advantage of young people under the current model it's the NCAA.
Why is it that guys like Tim never have to answer for the problems they cause?
