I have to wonder if we aren't in store for an AC announcement like tomorrow at lunch. All of these players have visits lined up in the next few weeks, and you'd have to think that the staff would try to set up those visits for later if they didn't already have a third AC lined up.

No inside info, just being hopeful.

Yeah, he might. But that's a mighty big if. Taylor can pick his school (or the G league). He speaks highly of Illinois, but that's the definition of a very hard get. Not a big package deal guy, but if that's a possibility, that tips the scale to Ames, for sure.

Just because a recruit has Illinois on his list doesn’t mean Illinois would take him.

Just recently, Lorenzo Charles had Illinois in his final three but did not have a commitable offer from Illinois.
