Not saying it is, but I'd rather us treat him like the rest of our commits and continue to appreciate his commitment to the O&B. From what I have been told it's coming down to UNC, Miami, Maryland, and Illinois. We are in the top 2 of those 4.

Yes, we will have plenty of guards already, but Fears is a true PG with winning intangibles. Would be a great fit alongside Epps/Podz/Harris and hopefully a great replacement for Belo who very well could be going pro after his Junior season.

IF our staff truly isn't interested in accepting Reggie Bass how has a candid conversation between coach and Reg not happened yet? I'm sure our coaches know not to string a recruit along if they're not intending on honoring an offer. Could be a bad look for the program. Something doesn't add up here

I believe it has happened. I think he's trying to call their bluff. In addition, coaches are not legally allowed to talk about recruits publicly currently (maybe not until the sign?) so there is nothing they can do right now. He can post whatever he wants. In reality no one really cares outside of the program how it goes down or what he will have to say about them when he inevitably doesn't sign so it's pretty irrelevant what he does right now. But I am nearly positive they have already had the conversation with him and he's just pretending it's still going to happen or thinks the staff will come back to him when it's time to sign.

Yep. I love Epps and we're in on some very strong '23 PGs. Feeling great about where we sit at PG.
