I never understood why we take basketball recruits to a football game. My best guess is:

Thought we all knew how big of a role ACs play in recruiting now. Hunter was able to pull 2 4 stars to Nebraska. I imagine he’s a pretty solid recruiter.

Also, its thought to be down to us and UNC for Whitmore, great that he got out of his OV there last weekend without committing. Oweh is essentially a higher ranked Storr with similar game.

So nova isn't an option for whitmore? I've seen multiple predictions for him going to Nova (granted they weren't insiders or anything like that)
UNC, ILL, Maryland, and Nova seem to be the serious final 4 for him. Lots think it's between us and UNC, although the Maryland insiders feel good about their chances as well.
He’s from Maryland - so if they firmly like their chances, it would be a very concerning sign for them.
