Luther had an interesting trajectory IMO. Think he was in the 70s nationally coming out of hs, wasn't anything special his freshman year, but improved a lot. Was best as a slasher early on, creative with reverse lay-ups etc. I don't think he was on any draft boards until he was a senior. By then he had a really fast first step move he would use on the perimeter to freeze defenses, and that opened up his 3 pt shot, which he hit at a high clip. Undersized SG for the NBA, and yet he had the complete toolkit --could score at all 3 levels (mostly going to the rim or taking a 3) took good care of the ball, good on-ball defender who could come up with a steal, and worked really well in our 3 guard offense. Managed to stick in the league for 7 seasons.
I can see why Sincere is being compared to him style-wise. If he can develop that much, good for him.
