Would this be referring to the roster of that lackadaisical team currently sitting atop the B1G halfway through the season❓
What a bunch of slackers they are❗
Didn't say he was better than others. That remains to be seen. Just said looks more aggressive. 🤷

This is a solid team, with a bunch of underclassmen. Of course it will be a step back from the current roster full of super seniors. What will be truly exciting is the year after next.
I think you are right. Just hope I live long enough to see it. P.S. I would love to see Grandison back next year.

Can't let him go. The sunk cost is too high. Somene's head would need to roll. [Business perspective.]
That doesn't matter. Schools buyout coaches contracts, costing them millions, all the time.

To be fair, w/o Belo we don't have many guys who can penetrate and create, ie. we're more of a jump shooting team. And yes, there's a difference between doing that at the H.S. level and college.

Especially for Epps. Belo is our only guard returning with really good handles. We really need another capable ball handler. I think Harris and Rodgers may have a tougher time cracking the rotation. But they're both such tenacious defenders that I think they will get minutes.
I see no reason Rodgers is going to have a tough time getting minutes. He's the type of wing we don't have, and all reports are that he is a high energy do everything glue guy as well that Brad loves.

Everyone talks about Epps spelling Curbelo next year. I really think Rodgers has the ability to handle some PG time next year. His vision and passing are outstanding. Handle looks like it could use a little tightening, but it is pretty good.
I know we’re looking at highlights against high school competition, but wow. The guys coming next year are going to be fun to watch.

Hutch is a prime example of difficulty in reversing a bad decision. People hate admitting they mad a bad decision (regardless if it is anybody's fault).

I think one reason for Brad's success is his wilingness to change.

Abandoning the super aggressive trapping defense he used sucessfully at SFA and Ok State when it did not work at Illinois

Hutch's injuries are not anybody's fault but it is time for him to move on from Illinois. Yes - he may do well somewhere else but the data indicates he is more likely to be injured and unable to stay on court next year. I hope I am wrong.

Mike Epstein (football) was good player for us that could not stay on the field. Sometimes it is just not meant to be.
