You are correct, but many have speculated he won't return. Main reason being him not wanting to spend another year in college at the age of 24. His return sounds more likely than it was at the beginning of the year, though.
I'm much older than 24 and I would have no problem with 1 more year of college...quick someone let Grandy know college is more fun than responsibility.

I slugged thru BSEE and MSEE. I could never do it again. After working 5 years I went to MBA school and enjoyed 2 years of bar crawls, golfing, ski vacation, summer internship and easy course work.

Grandison already has his undergrad and is working on his MBA.

If I was Grandison and had solid Europe offer I would start making money.

If I did not have anything lined up and there was some NIL money I would try to get a summer intership with an Illini alumni using my MBA and come back for another year

But wait, there's more:
- not a chucker (as evidenced by his FG%)
- unselfish, good distributor (assists), VG handles
- defensive dawg
Don't forget when he went nuclear in the tourney against Virginia. One of the greatest tourney performances ever..

Carson Edwards comp doesn't work.
Final (Junior) year at Purdue was 39.4% (277-703) and 35.5% 3FG (135-380).

First things first, I was glad to hear that Brad & the boys enjoyed a nice meal at The Beef House today. I know they made sure our EveryDay Guys had the right fuel to hand Purdue a big fat L tomorrow. It is one of my favorite places to eat and if you are ever in the area, stop by. You won't regret it!

Now to the real meat and potatoes of this post...;)

Boswell is nearing a decision is what I am hearing as I stated a little while back, still looking at that early March timeframe but obviously, things are subject to change in recruiting. With the way schedules lined out, he had to visit this weekend. Much easier to get to AZ than CU for a visit and this date just worked best for trying to see a game. He is still planning on taking that AZ visit but if our visit goes well, it will be very hard for him to say no in the end. All of that to say, if everything goes to plan, Brad is taking down not one, but two wildcats this weekend...

For NIL.......Jake from State Farm seems to be a natural.

He definitely does. It's just a matter of whether he will choose to use it. A lot of people seem to think he will move on, but we thought that about Trent and DMW too...
The notable difference between the super seniors during this academic school year (2021 football; 2021-22 basketball) is that they do not count toward scholarship limits. While it's true someone like Jake could return for a super-senior season in 2022-23, the significant difference is he would count against the scholarship limit, whereas Frazier and Williams do not this year.
