If Kofi bolts, we're gonna try to land a center. But Rodgers at the 5? Sparingly, if at all. Only if the opponent is playing small ball and even then, why?

Scott Richey wrote an article back in October about Boswell and his family. It said that his grandfather is pulling hard for him to go to Illinois, and his whole family are Illini fans.
Won't it be both? We don't have another center, and you usually see one guy get 25-30 minutes, with the other getting low teens. And there's usually at least a couple games each year where you get into serious foul trouble or injury issues and need someone who can slide in there for limited minutes.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Kofi's been an exception --very durable (the concussion not withstanding), and pretty good with his feet and length to stay out of foul trouble.

The "about us" on that website isn't really helpful (points to the campus ink website) -- do you know if that gear/site is that University-sanctioned? And how much of it goes to players? I was also under the impression that players couldn't make money off of gear with the University emblems on it. That not correct/changed?
Yes, both will likely get minutes, as will BBV and possibly Lieb. We actually are pretty deep at Center, even if Kofi leaves. Absolutely no earthly reason that Rodgers would need to play the 5. He's a 3 that has some positional versatility, but C seems even more unlikely than PG.

Just saw several highlight tapes of Ames. Wow. Great ball handling, lethal three point shooting and quick and aggressive going to the rim. Reminded me a lot of Epps and Harris. Looks like he could play the point or the two. Left handed--we seem to lead the league in that dept. somehow. If we get Ames, we'll continue that tradition.
I'd like to team him up with Boswell.
Plus, Boswell Ames sounds like a Wall Street brokerage house.
Just need permission from the university before using their emblem.
