Bobby Knight was the poster child for teaching illegal screens. Refs too scared to call it.As much criticism as Big 10 officials take, watch an NBA game and see how many illegal screens are missed. It doesn’t make the job of the defense any easier.

Rodgers could be what this team needs most--an athletic, versatile guy in the 6-7 range to line up against tall wings. A guy who can shoot it but is also aggressive about attacking the rim. We may already have that in Goode and/or Melendez; I guess time will tell.
Oh no, not GA. Where's Brad? Look at that body language doe... We doomed.
I'd say we have that in Melendez. But it would be nice to have another. Rodgers at this point projects to be a bigger version of DMW.Rodgers could be what this team needs most--an athletic, versatile guy in the 6-7 range to line up against tall wings. I'd argue he projects a lot better. DMW is basically non-existent on offense but Rodgers gets triple-double after triple-double in HS.I'd say we have that in Melendez. But it would be nice to have another. Rodgers at this point projects to be a bigger version of DMW.
Yeah. Offensively they are just about opposites. DMW pretty much just a spot-up 3 pt shooter when open (and usually a last option on offense) versus a dude who's gonna get down and dirty inside and get lot's of putbacks. Defensively I do think he can be a rich man's DMW with his additional size. I see a lot of Roger Powell in his game.I'd argue he projects a lot better. Well, to be fair. In HS DMW WAS that guy. IIRC, he had a serious knee injury his Sr. Year of HS.I'd argue he projects a lot better. DMW is basically non-existent on offense but Rodgers gets triple-double after triple-double in HS.
Kid has a good offer list (most of our B1G rivals). Local boy. Would be nice to lock him up early to complement Morez.
Not a bad comp, but Ty's a better distributor and has better handles.Yeah. Offensively they are just about opposites. Is dad with him? I was thinking this was JR's kid?
We all forget DMFW was a scoring stud coming out of HS until torn ACL. Wish we could have seen that prowess as wellI'd argue he projects a lot better. DMW is basically non-existent on offense but Rodgers gets triple-double after triple-double in HS.
DMW was a hell of a scorer in high school…..fwiwI'd argue he projects a lot better. DMW is basically non-existent on offense but Rodgers gets triple-double after triple-double in HS.
Geoff is awesome. Love that guy. The kids love him too. Glad he got this spot. He is killing it.
It is JR's kid. Think Iowa will be the team to beat for him.Is dad with him? I was thinking this was JR's kid?
Oh he is.Hopefully Kyan is enjoying the game.
