If he transfers, he'll have to sit a year. Unless he gets an exemption due to circumstances.

I don’t think the NCAA will hesitate to allow transfers after coaching changes. JMO

The new rule allows 1 transfer without sitting out, or a grad can transfer also without sitting a year. A basic coach firing would not be enough to get an exemption, however given the circumstances of Wade's implications.......well, that might be enough.
I wish Miller the best, but if he had stayed, I think we lose our third team All BIG guard, or our second team All BIG guard decides not to run it back… or both. Miller’s transfer worked out amazingly for us.
