Appreciate all the humor my question brought. :)

I think the only news I've been first on was Sam McLaurin's commitment, and that was just from late night scanning Twitter unable to fall asleep.

"F*** it. I'm going to Illinois."

Anything I've contributed has been right place right time. You're the only people I talk detailed college sports with, so the insider chatter has always been interesting. I suppose the networks of former players, coaches, and parents of kids and such make sense.

Again, appreciate all the info the insiders bring, while also being quite friendly and patient with the rest of us.

I just make stuff up and hope for the best.

But for real I just happen to know some of the right people. And as for the LSU Auburn thing….the college basketball circle is pretty small of you think about it….a lot of back channeling….a lot people talk to the same people….just an example…Adam Miller could have told Trent about the kid and Trent could have told Brad…..or Frank Martin caught wind of it and called Brad to see if he had heard something similar. Just stuff like that.

Showed improvement this year. Had the 6’3 leading scorer in the PAC 12. Finished middle of the pack. Competed.

Definitely hasn’t been good though at this stage.

It doesn't sound like Antonio Reeves will be an option for Illinois, mostly due to admissions standards. I'd expect DePaul to be his destination. And now that Kansas is involved with Skyy, I'm not nearly as optimistic on landing him as I was.

There are 350 div 1 basketball programs. That gives us approxiately 0.3% chance at any recruit/transfer.

We have a relationship with Skyy via TA. Whether we can turn that into a commitment is TBD.

Unlike Groce who would put all is his eggs in one basket Brad already has 2 guards signed for 2022 had us in finals for Fears , Boswell and now Clark. Don't forget Dai Dai Ames has not decided yet.

This assumes all outcomes are equally weighted, which is not true.
