This is the new normal with the transfer portal and NIL.
Griffin - avg 13 ppg for Syracuse then left early for NBA. Currently in G-league.
Miller - injured knee prior to playing for LSU. Coach fired for NCAA violations.

To me our team was Kofi and the other guys this year. We had moments where if Kofi wasn't scoring, no one was scoring. That was clearly seen in the consistent long scoring droughts we had throughout the year. Of those "other guys", the most prominent are required to leave. We also saw young guys like RJ and Goode giving the team a spark by bringing something different to the team.
While I don't want to lose anyone. Outside of Kofi, RJ, and Goode no one else will give me heartburn whether they stay or go. It's their lives. They can do what they want. With the way the transfer portal is nowadays, it is stupidly easy to replace players. It is even pretty easy to upgrade. I ultimately think we will have an opportunity to upgrade, assuming Kofi returns.

I read it somewhere saying he will be a junior with three years of eligibility left.
We still haven't figured out which point guard the staff might target if he enters the transfer portal. Any guesses? Ya know, Caleb Love is still playing ... 
He’s played three full seasons at TT, so I would think technically a senior with two years of eligibility.
He played 3 years at Texas Tech. He’ll be a senior, but technically a junior eligibility-wise with the ability to play 2 more years.

This years freshman class is really screwed by the extra year rule. When they are playing their last year of eligibility, there will still be guys on the roster with an additional year of experience to compete for playing time with.
