His feet are not great. A lot of wasted steps, turning the wrong way at times. He's physically imposing and talented, but I think a good big man coach can clean up his feet in the post. Not arguing, but raw in what way?

Has great looking form from everything I've seen. Not sure what that translates to percentage-wise at this stage though. Can he shoot?
Or his game so far mostly limited to the paint?
Thanks. I'm not much of a big evaluator. As a matter of fact, I'm not a great small evaluator either. His feet are not great. A lot of wasted steps, turning the wrong way at times. He's physically imposing and talented, but I think a good big man coach can clean up his feet in the post.
Chances R was the best place in Champaign in 1970s.... Some great bands there on weekendsOr the real Illini Inn either. There just aren't enough dives anymore.
That's about as detailed as I get. The only evaluation you really need on Morez is he's good, real good.Thanks. I'm not much of a big evaluator. As a matter of fact, I'm not a great small evaluator either.
I assume TSJ wants Kofi to come back so he can play alongside?I think it has been said Clark will announce sometime in the next week or two, and TSJ is waiting on Kofi's decision. (someone please correct me if I have that wrong)
Hope he has a comparable career to Nick Weatherspoon.Sencire Harris will be the only player from Ohio. What is he thinking?
Well, I am drinking something but it isn't Kool-aid.
While this board continues to freak out, I’m going to sit back, relax, and keep drinking orange kool-aid while staring at the orange and blue sky.
It has been a fun ride, lol...now can we get some timetables...and who is the combo secret transfer.I’m a long time lurker who, except for the depressing and disgusting game thread posts, has been enjoying the roller coaster rides on this message board, particularly on the recent hoops recruiting threads. If I were a grad student in social psych looking for a dissertation topic or if I were still doing research, I would be shouting, “Hallelujah! I’ve hit publication pay dirt!

Yes.I assume TSJ wants Kofi to come back so he can play alongside?
Or, welbutrin, prilosec, and valium with some bourbon.Xanax and LAD - two great tastes that taste great together.
Good lord.
we haven't had a recruit like him since...? Jereme Richmond? you can see the limitless potential with him now pushing 6'9". playing with more of a traditional back to the basket player like James Brown is good for him in that it is forcing him to develop his skills as a forward.
I remember the Spoon. 25 ppg 12 rbg. 8 years in NBA. One of best players to ever wear the Illini uniform.Hope he has a comparable career to Nick Weatherspoon.
NoWould a Shannon commitment to Illinois cause an issue with Melendez?
If only I could find a place where the same gifs are endlessly posted I’d be happySo that was 9 pages of false information and hysteria I just scrolled through. Some of y'all really gotta start verifying sources before you post bunk-a$$ tweets. Just because you see something, doesn't mean you gotta post it.

No is correct, but who knows with kids today? About 1/3 to 1/2 of Illini opponents have a defender that can shut down any player on your team. That is why you want 5 players on the court who can play both ends and score. No team has 5 such defenders, but with help good defense, you can see what they do to Kofi, Trent, Plummer, and Grandison at times. When your lead guard is your top scorer, it is not difficult to hold him to 10 pts. or less and make other players, like DFW, beat you. Or Grandy at times, but if you do not guard him, Grandy can score threes in bunches as we saw. We all saw how Plummer struggled to get open shots due to his size and had to go to a difficult (at best) step back move at times just to get a shot off...let alone in rhythm. Ayo, on the other hand, had tremendous speed, length, and stride that allowed him a couple of extra inches to get a layup untouched....by the most slim margin much of the timeWould a Shannon commitment to Illinois cause an issue with Melendez?

John F****** Groce?JFC, get a grip.
I don't think so... Melendez can play both the 2 and 3 spot in my opinion. So could TSJ.Would a Shannon commitment to Illinois cause an issue with Melendez?
