Morez reminds me of high school Leron Black.

And that's a good compliment, if it wasn't clear. Leron was a stud in high school, but got derailed by injuries and off court issues. Hopefully in a healthier program with a better coach, Morez can reach his potential.

Total stud. I liked him a lot (despite the issue he had at the bar). Morez looks like he could have a beefier frame eventually, and you need that to defend at the high major level (especially in the BIG).

2 things.......................

Love his drives and use of left hand on layups...................
Love the business like approach.....................no showboating , just every day guy mentality
Which is hilarious given how much showboating last years' beloved "every day guys" did.

I want players who have lots to celebrate (i.e. score a bunch of points, monsters on defense and make lots of plays). I think how they celebrate when they do so is not a useful player metric.

form on multiple jump shots/pull ups in these videos looks really good. The only thing i'm not seeing in his highlight videos, and possibly the thing holding him back from truly elite 5* status, is the top end raw athleticism/highlight dunks that you might expect for someone his size. Special prospect regardless
Yeah, no jump-off-the-page athleticism, but seemingly relentless motor. Really nice piece to have on any team.

Yes, but keep in mind that he's maybe 16 and has been growing like a weed. Not even close to used to his body yet. Will he be ready for high D1 in a little more than a year? Not sure, but there's gonna be virtually no point, hoops-wise, for 2 more years of HS ball.
