"Gregg" Alexander is actually the brother of UI assistant coach "Geoff" Alexander. Their father Neil is, I believe, the #2 winningest coach in Illinois HS basketball history. Geoff worked for Brad way back when Brad coached at a JC in Florida.

So, 'Greg' was sorta, kinda close
