with the state of college basketball in 2022 "recruiting" now goes outside of prep classes.
This take cracks me up every time. "First weekend exit" and also "letting him slip away". We all know that the tournament is about being hot at the right time. Plenty of teams with more talented rosters(on paper)get bounced on the 1st weekend EVERY YEAR! Just quit with the sky is falling garbage. The program is in the best shape it has been in in 15 years or more and people still wine and moan about not getting further in the tournament. We have had a tournament team 2 years(should be 3)in a row now. More obviously to come. We will have our breakout year in the tourney and it will probably be the Illini team that has to fight and claw just to make the tourney. Just how it goes.If this is "big boy recruiting" the staff obviously isn't ready for it. And to let TSJ go to a conference rival? yikes. Yes, the Skyy addition was great but when you lose a top 100 freshman and your starting PG without replacing it that offsets any victory we have had so far. Seems as though we will be heading to another first weekend exit as there aren't too many other difference makers like TSJ left out there. Sad to see the staff/insiders so calm on letting a talent like him slip away so easily, especially after missing out on Brandon Murray
I fully respect you wanting to keep some things confidential, but is the staff putting an all-our press on TSJ to come here right now? Ramey? In BU we trust. Again, I know you guys know more than you let onWe're going to be a top 25 team again, for the 3rd year in a row ... With at least one All-American on each of those teams ... And we are coming off of TWO Big Ten Championships ...
Recruiting seems to be going just fine
We didn't replace our starting PG with Skyy? The sky is not falling, friend. If this is "big boy recruiting" the staff obviously isn't ready for it. And to let TSJ go to a conference rival? yikes. Not sure how interested Trent is in coaching, but I could see him killing it like Chester in about 10 years.I don't think anyone really knew how banged up Trent was this entire year, and it may never get out publicly. He just kept his head down and worked.
The kid is an absolute warrior. The epitome of an everyday guy. And a guy who in my opinion still doesn't get enough credit for his career here. I will ride or die with Trent Frazier on my team, and I know Brad would say the same.
Rafters. That's all I've got to say about that.

For like 3 daysThanks for spurning the cheese heads and coming our way. You made a lot of us happy and confident in our program by doing so.

This is carefully worded. Do WE have interest in him?He has interest yes.
Only on Loyalty could we sign our highest ranked player in two decades and be in such a state less than a week later that it warrants the use of a gif like this
