I think Brad holds on scholie back for mid year transfers like Dainja. We lost Mac Ettiene to UCLA because we did not have a ride available mid year

I have no problem holding a scholarship back if BU doesn’t find a quality third transfer, but at least now in retrospect “losing out” on Etienne doesn’t seem so bad. And wasn’t that a by-product of Covid as he and at least several other players enrolled early that year. I think it had something to do with some HS schools not playing ball that year or they knew that year basically wouldn’t count with the extra Covid year. David Jones was another player who did that.
