I get where Ant is coming from but I actually think Nance and Coleman could co exist quite nicely

Yep. We have literally no frontcourt depth right now, and both could play the 4/5 interchangeably. Dain has played 3 (?) college games. I don’t believe he’s a lock at the 5 until I see with my own eyes he’s more serviceable than Payne (not buying the coaching staff offseason hype this time around). Nance/CoHawk at the 4/5 creates quite the 5-out lineup with good size.

Actually, I bet we see them playing together more than some think. 5 out. You need two bigs who can drain 3s and pulling them out allows the 'backcourt' to drive in the lane. Sounds a lot like the NBA? Looks like @grantlab was thinking along those lines also

Not to mention minutes at the 3 for CoHawk. I'm sure Coleman is smart enough to realize this will work out fine for minutes and points. Hopefully BU can make the case.

Even if Dain lives up to the hype foul problems are very likely for a first year big. Kofi was extremely good at avoiding them but Dain, Hawk and Nance would all get plenty of mins. Would love this to happen as all three can play outside. Add a seasoned PG and we are top 20 minimum.

Yes, with Dain’s physical shape and lack of game experience, I don’t see him playing much more than 20mpg. (Love his game just trying to be realistic for first year expectations) Nance and Hawkins could very easily coexist, likely on the court together a lot. Would be quite the duo
