Whether or not he ultimately goes, I'm guessing CoHawk enters the portal before tomorrow's deadline just to keep his options open. Hope he stays to play with Nance, but who knows. I'm glad our staff knows how to play the game.

All that has happened the last 3 years and today is why you hire Dawgs and not nice guys.

Whitman and Brad are 🐶

Th*mas and Gr*oce were nice guys.

If we want to be blue blood we gotta step it up in this current environment of NIL and mass transfer garbage.
I understand what you're trying to say but from everything I've heard, Mike Thomas was not a nice guy.

Agree completely, the world isn’t simply divided into “dogs” and nice guys. There’s room in there for incompetence and a-holes and Mike Thomas was both of those.
It also speaks to the idea that you don't evaluate people on short term results alone he was AD of the year at Cincy. Some good things happened there that masked other problems.

You could say the same about BAM

I am really getting sick of this. Brad keeps saying we are a developmental program, but you need players to stick around to develop last I heard.
How do you propose to make that happen in the new era of free transfers? And still win consistently?

McCullar looks like the 6-6 Damonte that I’ve been wanting for years plus he averaged 10/5/3 last year. We should absolutely take him imo.
His FGP is low though, like a 30% 3 pointers shooter. If we get him AND Nance, who ARE going to bench? CH for sure. How about RJ or Dainja? I suppose not Skyy. The last thing I want is losing RJ though.

I was just posting out of frustration to hear that we may have another player transfer out when we already have quite a few holes to fill. Players are going to transfer out, that is part of college basketball. But almost all of them? That pushed me over the edge at the time I posted that.
We need depth at every position and I know Brad will get the players, but right now we are losing two for ever player we gain. As I said, I was frustrated. I am better now.;)

If these kids honestly think they have a future at the next level, and chose to leave this staff, someone has inflated their sense of self-worth. If they are finally taking an honest look about what is happening with this roster and think they cant beat out the next guy, we need them to move on.
I think CoHawk can do some big things, but if he cant beat out someone for playtime in practice we don't need him on the floor.

This team isn't where it was and no longer has to take players it can get. A member in this board wants a Title or at least an Elite 8 before he dies.. well if we put together 7-8 of the best and they have chemistry hold on till next march my friend.

Think it’ll be very tough for Goode to see the court over Rodgers …

Epps will get serious tick IMO, maybe not day 1 but this kid is gonna be a beast … I just got a gut feel about him.

Team will be legit 11 deep next year in terms of guys who can play at this level … Which means someone’s not gonna be happy … Wouldn’t mind having someone redshirt but kids don’t believe in that anymore it seems 🤷🏻‍♂️
Goode is a shooter, Ty, from what I heard, is not. Defense, hard to say who is better. I wouldn’t be super worried if I were Goode. They simply offer different functionalities and it depends on what coaches want to prioritize.
