Sorry...I'm trying to catch up...and the snippets from this board are piecing together very chaotically in my head (not unusual as an ever aging Illini fan)...

Someone pls confirm the following:

1. Nance is transferring to Illinois
2. Shannon is transferring to Illinois
3. Shannon would have gone to Mich, but TT coach Adams didn't approve summer school, which was required by Michigan for him to transfer. Illinois gets him, because apparently we have difft/lesser requirements and dont require summer school at TT for him. Dickinson thinks coach Adam's is killing Shannon's real dream of being a wolverine by not approving summer school
1. Seems likely, lots of hints, but he's in the draft still, not concrete
2. 100% confirmed
3. Seems to be the case.

What are the sources of the Nance to Illinois? Is this a possibility, probable or lock?

Lol...the Flying Illini if the late 80s switched and we're the most interchangable switching line up we ever had.
Also when Edey and other big guys come at us we will need a true 5 man. The game has changed but not to we need a true big and the Flying Illini team was the most switchable team we ever had.
All season, Illinois had critics talking about their lack of size that season. When they lost in the final four people said that their lack of size finally caught up to them.

Ant’s Spotify live is pretty interesting right now.

Long story short; Terrance hasn’t technically graduated from TTU yet. Michigan wouldn’t let him in until he did, so they said go take those summer classes and come here in June. Texas Tech coach wouldn’t let him take those classes while on scholarship since he said he wanted to leave - apparently our boy Josh Whitman signed a waiver allowing him to come here without technically graduating yet.

This is like Domino 5 or 6 - seems he is a bit behind, no?

* Frazier, Williams and Plummer graduated (out of eligibility). Not really dominos.
* Epps, Harris and Rodgers were already signed as incoming Freshmen. Not really dominos. 3
* Hawkins, RJ, Goode, Lieb and Dainja were already on the roster. Not really dominos. 5

Domino Update: - and we originally thought 9 dominos would be a lot.
#1 - Curbelo exits
#2 - Payne exits
#3 - Skyy joins the team
#4 - Podz exits
#5 - Kofi declares for draft
#6 - BBV exits
#7 - Hutcherson declares for draft
#8 - Grandison declares for draft
#9 - Shannon Jr. joins the team
#10 - ???
#11 - ???
#12 - ???

Seems that we still have 3 of 13 slots open, with Hutcherson and Grandison also still eligible to return.

It was one game vs a very good team. In a one game series the best team can lose and did that game. Plus two of the main guys were not 100 percent. They were pretty long. Bardo was PG and the shortest at 6'5".

Not to be a nitpicky but, he hasn't "technically" not graduated, he just hasn't graduated, full stop. Michigan's issue is that they don't take transfer credits so most of his progress would be gone. Illinois was more accommodating in taking his credits. This is big so that he can graduate in a year. Had he finished up and graduated, the issue with his credits is no big deal and he could have just grad transferred to Michigan.

Best I can put together so far.
We will need rebounding and big man defense! I hope #3 is Bates or a Bates type center. Clark will do great at PG... If we add Shannon, Nance and Bates, I think we would be golden.
