Depth is nice if you need it, but I don't think having 11 guys that need an actual decent number of minutes is a good thing. Cause we aren't going 11 deep much. It's a recipe for seeing a bunch of guys leave next year.
Terrence Shannon will be a senior, Kevin McCullar would be a 5th year senior, and Pete Nance would be a 5th year graduate student. Coleman Hawkins would be the only other rotation quality upperclassman.

It amazes me that freakin Seth Davis appreciates one of our own more than some of the people that frequent this board. Unbelievable. I get that he was a flawed offensive player and that could be really frustrating at times, but y'all need to let it go. You are holding him responsible for Brad's rotations. All he did was play his butt off, and that made Brad want to play him instead of other options. You should absolutely want another DMW on our team, let alone a substantially better version of DMW.
I'm dumbfounded that any Illini fan fails to appreciate the bedrock nature of DMW in the current program. Absolutely gobsmacked.

Injuries/illness are the reasons why you get as many good players as you can. We had 68 games missed this past year.

I've read TSJ up to 2 years, McCullar up to 3 years..

You read wrong. McCullar enrolled in 2018/19, I think at the 2nd semester, but sat out. He played 3 seasons. He has up to 2 left, counting a Covid year.

The ”who starts” argument used as a measuring stick of player worth is so outdated.

you can play 30 minutes off the bench. You can start and play 10. It doesn‘t mean anything.

Up to 3 with a grad transfer? I said up to 3...Isn't that what Nance is using?
