All good people hate the Yankees. /sGood old Chris Chambliss. Big home run won the series. I was watching. KC fans had to hate the Yankees.
No need for a "/s," this is a true statement. All good people hate the Yankees. /s
I beg to disagree with you... when it comes to professional sports teams it is often a familial matter or attachment to a person who becomes identified with a team that determines who one follows... in the first decade of my life in the 1940's I became a Yankee fan because my father and older brother were Yankee fans and because of Joe Dimaggio and because my hometown Toledo Mudhens were the Yankee Triple AAA affiliate... I am still a good personNo need for a "/s," this is a true statement.
FIFY Peyton. We'll cut you some slack since you're new and haven't caught up on the Loyalty terminology.
Recently offered center Peyton Marshall talks Illinois
Now that Illinois has jumped on board, there will be the inevitable comparisons to All-American center Kofi Cockburn. That's okay with Marshall.
"Kofi is a great player," Marshall said. "So much can be said about him, but the best way to describe him is 'dominant ERUPT'. "
Carolina will be a player for both Mayer and Nance, but I doubt they'd take both. I wouldn't be shocked to see them land Mayer, but they're certainly working on Nance, as well.Anyone have info on a timeline for Nance, Mayer, or anyone else that might be a possibility?
I was sitting in Marty Pattin's place in Charleston watching the game. When Chambliss hit his home run, I was the only one to cheer(I was a Yankee fan). I almost got thrown out of the place.Good old Chris Chambliss. Big home run won the series. I was watching. KC fans had to hate the Yankees.
Can't teach size, but the boy has more work to do.

I became a Yankee fan because the Yankees had a Class D farm team in Quincy in the 50's. who we love, and who we hate, in college sports is another matter... i got my PhD at Illinois and taught there for 25 years and have all the passion for our team and all the hatred of the usual suspects
Did you ever see Kofi in high school? It wasn't all that prettyCan't teach size, but the boy has more work to do.

He's only a current h.s. sophomore. He's got plenty of time to do that work. If we could land this guy, with the 2024 commits we've already got, maybe we could find a way to skip '23 and move ahead from there. Can't teach size, but the boy has more work to do.
Especially if we get them and the are invited and drafted next yearApparently no one we are in on, which is good news.
Are his growth plates open? He's only a current h.s. sophomore. He's got plenty of time to do that work. If we could land this guy, with the 2024 commits we've already got, maybe we could find a way to skip '23 and move ahead from there.
It looks like we could use (at least) a PG and C in '23. It would give them a year to learn the system before needing them. Skyy may be moving on after 2 years, and we don't have a second center ready to go with Dain in '24.He's only a current h.s. sophomore. He's got plenty of time to do that work. He didn't call Kofi elite so I guess we're out of the running on Marshall

I believe the raging inflation of the late '70s and early '80s basically equalized the prices10 cent beers. much better than those quarter beer nights on campus back in the '80s

Unequivocally not. Old Style : Wrigley Field = Popcorn : Cinema. So are you saying that given the current situation, that $9.75 Old Style I had at Wrigley Field was a relative bargain?
