I too dislike the memes and gifs. Given how many of the regulars enjoy them, I opted for a personal solution. I run ublock origin, an adblocker (avoid ublock), and then tell it to block anything from www.illinoisloyalty.com/attachments/. This stops almost all of the images. Unfortunately it also blocks viewing the inline scholarship grid that BMore updates. You can see it by looking at the spreadsheet directly.

I think they’re great, but this board doesn’t make it easy enough to post them while on phone. Oh well.

Haven't your heard - we're not doing that next year. ; ) Actually, all this talk about Nance and/or Mayer potentially coming on board may not come to fruition for us at all. I'm totally in sync with our recruiting staff coming up with someone to come in at the 5 that will not only be comparable to either of those 2, but will far exceed our expectations and fill the need admirably. One thing we can count on now that we weren't able to in years past is trusting a staff that can get the job done and find the right fit. IMO, we'll be in great shape roster-wise whatever happens for this coming season.

No one of note that I’ve seen, but interesting that players continue to enter the portal. It’s difficult to know the exact number because there are also players withdrawing and returning to their school. I’d venture a guess at least 100 have gone in since the deadline. It will be interesting to see how many get a wavier.
