idk, Maybe the kid is enjoying the dance (big time attention).
I like our chances - high major up trending program that has shown early attention and loves his style of play.
I give us a 40% chance - which is good with the number of blue bloods sniffing around.
More like an uphill battle for them against us
This can be true in some cases but from everything we've heard Amani has planned for a fall commitment from the beginning so don't really think it applies
The blue bloods are lurking ... They jump in and it could change things but the only non-blue blood school that could change things is Maryland ...
I know that they are planning to watch Reid Ducharme and Deshawn Harris Smith ...
I watched Ducharme drop 42 and then in another game I know he had like 30 with 6 threes and 23 of those points were in the first half ... Elite level shooter ... Xavier is the team to beat for him and we would be coming in late ...
Harris-Smith is a big guard and a really long guard. Elite defender. Best rebounding guard at Peach Jam for 17u ... He had 17 & 11 rebounds with 4 or 5 assists on Sunday morning and then in the Sunday afternoon game he would have had a triple-double but Coach took him out with like 3-4 minutes to go ... Then I watched him go for 15 points, 13 rebounds and 3 or 4 assists again ... Kid is going to be a really, really good college player. He looks the part already physically... Fletch would have some fun with this kid ... Has visited PSU, planning on taking visits to IU, Xavier, and Nova ... Plenty of time for us to get in on this kid if we really want to push the gas

Interesting, seems like we cooled heavily towards the end. Perhaps this is hindsight, but I don’t think I saw his name mentioned as lighting it up this summer on the eybl circuit.
Illinois hasn’t been hard after Ames for months. I’m sure we will hear from Manhattan how they beat Illinois for him, though.
I have to wonder if the staff knew about Skyy by the time Fears made a decision...
The Ames recruitment felt over as soon as Skyy committed as well.
