Call me crazy, but I don’t buy the brothers wanting to play together line that is being pushed with the Fears. If recent memory serves me right, we once had a player whose mom thought he was a point guard and he needed to play PG to make it to the league so he transferred. And his little brother was better than him. And we didn’t get his little brother. And his little brother didn’t go to his new school.

So, no. I don’t think Jeremy Fears recruitment has anything to do with Jeremiah Fears recruitment. If anything, maybe Brad declining to take Jeremy when he was ready will humble dad a bit with Jeremiah.

Aren’t they just talking about playing in high school together?

I still wish Alan G. had stuck around another year.

I was thinking the opposite. Out of the 6 or so drives shown only 2 were going left and he only finished 1 with his left hand. Still a great tape though - seems to have good instincts for when to drive and can finish
It wasn’t very long ago that we had a guard who was very dominant right-handed. Or should I say dominant erupt?

I think he could pretty easily re-class to '23, should he want to:
And, yeah, I know that he was originally a '23.
never really understood why people were thinking top 150 for ZZ. In terms of size, athleticism, handling, bball IQ, passing, getting to the rim he looks every bit as good as Skyy. I'm assuming since we don't see a lot of shooting in ZZ's clips, Skyy is a better shooter which is of course very important, but I was thinking more like top 75 for ZZ.

I'd quibble with the assessment that "he looks every bit as good as Skyy," but only because Skyy has some jaw dropping moves. Totally agree with your main point: ZZ looks like a Top 75 kid easy.

With ZZ going QTE, we will never find out his ranking.

I don't know where I'd rank him (ZZ), but he looks pretty relaxed and in control in the snippets I've seen.

Next installment of the Nojus show at 11:45 am. Semis, vs Greece. Should be a considerably better challenge than what they've faced thus far.

Interesting tidbit on AG, he now plays in the Canadian NBL for the Newfoundland Growlers and one of this teammates is Khalil Whitney.(y)
I was curious where he was recently, and saw that's how its listed in wikipedia but he's not on their website roster (Whitney is), and I think the season just ended. Patrick Ewing Jr as head coach too...

AG just signed in late May, so maybe they have not updated their website.

was thinking about Amani, feel like he's got the perfect game for college hoops and I think he would most likely stay 3-4 years with NIL options and being somewhat of a tweener. Idk, dude is such a gamer
Tom, please tell me you're not back to creepy texting recruits again. 😉

Sadly some of our former players’ camps could have used BB’s advice.

I may have misread the situation but to me Ace transferred in large part because it looked like Belo was going to get the keys and Ace’s camp thought he needed the ball in his hands. Which, if Ace makes it to the league (I hope he does) he’s not getting there because someone is drafting him hoping for 20 a game. He would get drafted for being a star in the role he was carving out for himself here. Namely a 3 n D wing.

I realize Alan had extenuating circumstances too but as a prior poster said, he’s got the size, athleticism, and shooting to make it in the league. Just needed to learn how to play defense. It’s a shame.

And actually, why I respect Kofi’s decision to go. No NBA team is going to hire him to score 20 on the low block, and Brad was never not going to use him that way. He was such a cheat code in college it would be coaching malpractice not to. He needs to become a star in setting screens, rebounding, and become adequate at guarding in space.

Most guys in the NBA are specialists. Very very few stars.
