Penn. St. must be pivoting to that elusive 5’9”Nimblefarb kid out of Olney with the ultra-useful Model U.N. and Drama Club background…the one that we seem to keep taking a pass on him…not sure why? I’ve been meaning to ask if anybody had anything on the guy. Haven’t heard the name for far too long now."We chose to go in another direction." - Penn State Basketball Fans (plural?), probably

Let's not kick a fanbase while he's down. This is from 11 months ago. Poor guy, thought his team was hopefully going to land several of the players listed but ended up with just 1.

Ya, Your the genius! Micah Shrewsbury, Coach, Butler, Boston Celtics, Purdue, and now Penn state. 44 yrs. old, relates to the young players. "Ok", Your a genuine genius! The man can coach and recruit, I hope he gets.out of the Big10 for our Benefit.
OK!
Well done. Had to think about that one for a bit until I got it.
Sounds like we trained then well“Didn’t fit the culture. Couldn’t get past admissions. His handlers got in the way.” PSU message board.
I-N-I! Welcome to the Fighting Illini Basketball FamILLy, Amani. Glad to see another talented, high character student/athlete with a supportive, non-drama family join the Illini. It‘s great to see yet another self-proclaimed “every day guy” commit just as our insiders said he would. Thanks, Indy, 0440, Lville, DB11Headband, et al! It’s also nice to be able to stop worrying about getting another hat switch announcement because Brad is not offering those type of kids with their drama-filled “support“ systems…
That must be the bump for committing to the beloved.Hansberry up to 64 on ESPN

I think he might have been unranked, but could be wrong. What was his previous rank?
Recruiting as we knew it is a thing of the past. Some years they will take 2-4 prep kids. Some years 1. Transfer portal is changing the gameSo are we basically in wait and see mode regarding ‘23 and ‘24 recruits and how they progress during their seasons and what kind of player we reel with a mid-season transfer? Haven’t heard much about anything being imminent.

Thanks, I get that. From your answer though I’m going to assume we are indeed in wait and see mode as far as HS recruits. I can live with Hansberry being the lone 2023 HS recruit should that come to pass. Nice to be in position to be picky and use all of the options available for bringing in new players.Recruiting as we knew it is a thing of the past. Some years they will take 2-4 prep kids.
