Clearly not a popular opinion around here, but if I’m a coach and that idiot of an All-American Dickinson wants to play on my team, I take him immediately.
I get that this is a goofy hypothetical for sh_ts and giggles…………..BUT
I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want to don an Illini jersey…call it a hunch…
and if that jerk hates us…we’re doing something right IMO
He doesn't strike me as great for the team culture tbh

The only reason you could possibly want to coach Hunty is to try to teach him how to run down the court like a man instead of looking like he’s in a bag race.

I've read some crazy things on here but this one is one of the most ridiculous right up there with "Bill Self wants to leave Kansas, having already reached the pinnacle, and finish what he started at Illinois."

Well, it would have allowed Self the chance to work for the great, universally respected Mike Thomas, Who, other than seemingly every decent coach in all sports (and most of the crappy ones as well) wouldn't want to do that?
By all accounts it appears his teammates like him
He's a really really good college big man. If you can't win big with that and a strong supporting cast, well....you're Juwan Howard

Hey! What do ya know? They do play some defense in that league. Maybe the one 20 second clip of the end of an already decided game from which many drew conclusions, wasn't quite representative of the talent level and competitiveness of OTE. Plenty of nifty makes in traffic and shots buried in defenders faces and over close outs in this video of actual game action. He's going to be good.

Maryland is probably going to be a big player here if I had to guess.
This highlight video made me a little dizzy tbh, but I do love this kid's game. He just has some swagger to go along with the skills and athleticism. Hoping he can get Fletched a bit and make an immediate impact. Really like the two guys we've got coming in next year.
Jameer Nelson Sr. played at St. Joe's for Phil Martelli, who is now Michigan's associate head coach (guy who coaches when Juwan gets thrown out of a game). Wouldn't be surprised to see Michigan go after Nelson Jr.
Sounds like Amani was just the Maryland player of the year, not the national poy.

What they need is to bring in 3 shooters, but what I think they have to have is a true point guard. Epps and Harris are not and let's not go into another season relying on a true freshman pg. Please. So, get a point guard who can hopefully shoot some and get a 6'6" small forward that can shoot or athletic big like Clowney at Bama. That kid is 6"10" and can shoot the 3 and also score around the rim.
