Honestly though, why would a pg want to play in spread? It doesn't let them showcase the skills that the pros are looking for in primary ball handlers.

We just didn’t have a good primary ball handler. It’s not like BU can’t coach PG’s or create an offensive scheme appealing to PG’s. See Jawun Evan’s in BU’s 1 year at Ok St and Ayo

I don't believe Epps to be a true PG, I think he and staff would prefer him off the ball. Kind of was forced into being the primary.
I don't disagree, but if he wants any chance at playing professionally at a high level he'll probably have to develop more pg skills

Need a point guard period. I love Harris' energy but when he has the ball he looks so out of control. His passing is a little better than bad. If you can't shoot FT's as a guard I don't know how you play major minutes. I think too many people thinks he's going to turn into Trent. I don't see him ever getting close to that. Jayden is a scorer but as pointed out by others, because of his lack of size he get's eaten up by larger guards on D and on O. Statement of the obvious but Luke is the real deal.
For a guy who frustrated the heck out of me in so many games and did so today maybe more than any other, I still would love to see Coleman come back.

We obviously need a PG, but more than that we need personnel that can utilize a pick and roll effectively to milk every option out of it before picking up their dribble and not having anywhere to go with the ball. I had to rewind 15 seconds when Harris found Dain on that pick and roll in the second half. It caught me by surprise, which isn't a good thing.

Agree. Since Ayo left we have been terrible at both setting and using picks. Key here, STAY SET when SETTING a pick, and when using a pick, actually run your defender INTO said pick. Feel like that needs to be a focus in the offseason. Again, has not been good the last two years. At the same time, teams use them against us very effectively.

Among the handful of other fundamentals we're not very good at. For years I've wondered why the person setting the screen roles the wrong way. You're completely defeating half the purpose of running a pick and role. Not surprisingly, we don't defend it well on the other end either.

I'm going to be watching this guy tomorrow and hoping he comes on the open market and doesn't follow Pitino.

We will. Focus is on retaining guys now.

Ty, Sencire, Moretti, and Luke will all be back for sure.
I think Shannon comes back and Coleman stays in the draft (again needs to play out).
RJ will be back most likely, but need to have conversations.
Dain and Epps both will take conversations. Think 1/2 will be back but we will see.

Need to add a vet point, a couple of wing shooters, and a big. Staff will be acting quickly
why would dainja leave he already transferred and Illinois seemed to develop him well. Also why would Epps he was granted starting pg until concussion
