I’m all in on the look how we play in conference. Nowhere near as free flowing as ACC/SEC/Big 12. If I’m a DUDE, would I want to play that big ten style?
Get held on every play and called for an extra 4+ fouls every away game. At this point you're better off going to Santa Clara..

I am one who believes the officiating in the big ten really hurts them for the tournament. All of the hand checking and moving screens slow down the flow of the game. This creates teams with big slow centers that doesn't work in the tournament.
After watching the Elite Eight games this weekend, I can't imagine anyone thinking that the B1G is even close to as physical as those games. Bodies flying everywhere and some pretty heavy contact was ignored. Especially the Miami/Texas game...more like a Civil War battle with bayonets only.

But I agree completely that in the past decade or two, this kind of officiating is an anomaly, especially in the early rounds where touch calls seemed to be the norm on many occasions. Not this year though so let's see what happens at the FF. No blue blood programs to protect and kids fighting for the trophy. Only UConn has one and they have pretty much stunk it up lately. Should be fun....and I like the Owls...but for certain its all up for grabs.

I agree with you in general but the physicality and style is different in Big10. There‘s so much less movement with the Big10 teams compared to the teams advancing, and that may be part of the Big10s problem with the officials. The Big10 has a lot more stationary physicality.

So is the NCAA just going to allow multi portal transfers with no sit out year now?
For all schools but Illinois, yes. If Illinois, student athletes may submit a waiver in which we have an almost perfect record of getting screwed here.

Can we get Caitlyn Clark to teach Illini men how to shoot the three. She is just amazing shooting the three.
Or get her to transfer to our mens team

Or at least get her to transfer to the women’s team. That might help in getting a big recruit on the men’s team. Remember when it helped Notre Dame, they could pitch being the next Skylar Diggins. That ended up being a major recruit of the Groce era. If she played here for coach Green, Underwood can pitch recruits on being the next Caitlyn Clark.

This guy has apparently just started following Tim Anderson:

As great as it would be to get a guy like Campbell it would also annoy me about the state of college basketball. Why in there world would a guy like Tyger Campbell transfer? UCLA got beat on a crazy 3 in the Sweet 16 with 2 key players not playing. Most of the team would return, plus they're bringing in 3 top 100 recruits next year. He's spent his whole career at UCLA, it would make no sense for him to leave.

Is there something im missing about Brandon Murray? Not saying he’s a horrible player by any means, but his shooting percentages across the board seem pretty bad.
