Much like Tyger Campbell, would love to have him but why leave the school you've been at for 4 years? Your team has a chance to actually be good if you stay but....

Toledo's PG RayJ Dennis, for those confused. From Plainfield, IL (Oswego East), originally went to Boise State out of HS where he played and started some, transferred to Toledo after two years, role expanded there and then after Ryan Rollins went to the NBA he became their lead guy this year.

MAC Player of the Year. Took the 7th most shots in Division 1 this season, to go with 5.8 apg. Extremely high usage player. One year of eligibility remaining.

The good version: Complete guard who has been a significant part of a ton of winning at both stops. IL kid who will want to be here. Legit passer, ballhandler and offense-initiator.

The bad version: Absolute chucker who would face a major transition in both role and quality of opponent. Neither a true true PG nor a lights out shooter, in a mid-major caliber physical/athletic package.

Takes a lot of shots. Was this out of necessity? Averaged like 16 shots per game. Shannon took most shots on team and he averaged about 11.

5.8 apg and he's not a true pg? When's the last time we had anyone average that many assists? DMac?

Edit: Looked it up and it WAS DMac in 2010-11 season with 6.1apg...

This would be ideal. Underwood loves Buie. Touted him early-on as 1st team All-Big10 as I recall.

Buie, TSJ, Rogers, CoHawk, Dainja and an imported stud 3-pt shooter as our top six. (Add Goode, Harris, RJ and sometimes Lieb off the bench.)

Translates to top 2 in the Big 10 next season.

Melendez or the mystery stud shooter in that lineup instead of Dain would make it about three times as good.
