I'm guessing Coleman will test the draft to get feedback, so we won't know anytime soon whether he'll be back. Is that your read on it also?
yeah we won't know til later in April-but if he doesn't come back there's a guy who will likely withdraw from the draft that plays his position that would be a significant target

Agreed. Nobody is expected to be anywhere longer than a year. Or if you are Skyy Clark, a dozen games or so.
Timing may not work out if we're holding out on Coleman's decision before securing a transfer stretch 4. That's a tough one to navigate.

I put this in another thread: I asked one of his Illini teammates about "Chet"-they def did not call him Chet. Not sure if things have changed since then tho. Insiders would know more than me.

I think I'd rather get a player who felt he could get drafted, finds out he probably won't, and goes to the portal. So waiting on Coleman and Shannon isn't necessarily a bad thing . IMO.
Should be a lot of options dropping out of the draft.
