If Curbelo would have shown some signs of maturing in his one year at St. John's, I'd take him back without hesitation. Illinois needs guys who can create and get other guys shots. He can do that. But all indications are he hasn't really changed.
Don't need to a super fancy insider with Tyler Underwood as a phone contact to know that Curbelo definitely is not coming back lol
Yikes. I loved the kid. You could see the potential. Although, he tends to want to showboat during games (or eat hot dogs during them?), and apparently has a lot of issues off of the court as well (just going by last year plus multiple suspensions this yea too). After the season we just had, and the potential for AC to be a big net negative to the culture, I'd say please no.
Re: Belo, wasn’t there also a rumor after last year that Coleman was transferring if Belo came back? Not that I think Belo is a realistic possibility but if it’s a choice between Belo and Coleman, easy choice.
Dunno… he had plenty of experience with it this year.
