Are we going to pursue Ace Wolf?
Saw Miller play at LSU, a shadow of the potential he had. He stood at the 3 pt wing waiting for a pass that rarely came his way. Teammates looked past him to dribble the ball up. There are natural consequences of bad decisions and only he can honestly say if they were. On a non-basketball side possibly his experience at LSU was worth it. Who knows, regarding basketball not a good decision. To be the man he will need to be at DIV II program and probably not a good one.

I saw his shooting percentage and thought 33%, that's not great for a SG, but not terrible either...until I realized it was his overall percentage. Taking over 10 shots a game too.

I was interested to watch him this last year and the year he first transferred to LSU when he had the ACL tear. Watching him this year was BRUTAL. 33% from the field is crazy. I will say I'm willing to give him another year to reach more of his potential since many athletes don't clear the mental hurdle with acl injuries until sometimes 2 years post op, even with the advancements around the injury lately

I saw on Twitter that people are sending messages to Storr's mother. They're from Rockford and his mom said she'd love for him to play close by but it will be up to him.
what type of mother is this? Doesn't she know sports mom's force their kids to do what they want.

Who remembers Leo Criswell who wanted to commit to Kentucky, but his mom wouldn't let him? She forced him to go to Missouri, probably because Quinn Snyder paid her.

The world needs ditch diggers, too.

I use all three of those quotes regularly but most of my peers have no idea what I'm talking about and it's sad.
As long as the portal resolution doesn’t land right in the lumber yard.

Kutcher from USD -> ILL as PWO
wonder why he would leave a scholarship for a walk on
It looks like his playing time was dropping (10m/game FR, 5m/game SO) at USD, so his future is clearly not in basketball. Depending on his major, it may make sense to pay 90k (2 yrs) to get a degree from IL vs South Dakota.

I'm not sure what a PWO gets beyond "we guarantee you can practice with the team."

maybe Brad will trot him out there if they need a last second three

I've watched some SIU. Domask is a fundamentally-sound player that can score but his best asset might be his passing. SIU seems pretty poorly coached, especially on the offensive end so getting him in a more offensively-friendly system might unlock more of him. I'd guess the hope is he's Brad's new Thomas Walkup but I worry a bit about how he fares against an athleticism upgrade in the Big Ten.

We’re in on him … Shocked he didn’t stay with Pitino but the kid can hoop …

Other thing is that he’s transferring which means it makes it very hard to transfer again unless Brad leaves or gets canned … So he’s likely here for 3 years …
Hey so question about your interpretation/thoughts on how stringently the NCAA will enforce the limitation on a 2nd transfer - will they? With both Storr and AM entering the portal on the same day it's hard for me to ignore the respective Illini connections and the similarities and differences in their situations. Maybe I've missed it, but I haven't noticed much discussion regarding how AM will get around the sit out year (or maybe he's planning on just rehabbing his knee during his off year?) with his second transfer and at the same time I see many talking about how Storr is a higher value/more sought after transfer portal recruit due to the somewhat guarantee that he won't be able to transfer again.

Again - sorry if this was already discussed and clarified and I missed it. I appreciate anyone's input, but Indy is consistently one of the most knowledgeable posters so I wanted to get their input specifically (blatant kissup to Indy in light of their earlier post re: people giving them sh!t which is remarkably unwarranted and just dumb).

There’s your Friday Funday 😎😎😎-welcome Keaton!

I had it on good authority a MAJOR target would be entering the portal by today. That’s changed- but still happening in the next week or so. Keep an eye on the portal- it should be pretty obvious who I’m referring to when this player enters

So I’m a pathetic desperate loser and was looking for clues in this gif, and the first name that came to mind was Maverick Morgan 😆

Somehow I don’t think that’s who you’re referring to tho…
