Ugh. It will bug the living daylights out of me but I can see him having a lot of success there. That said, I like Cooley and the Hoyas were very randomly my (EA sports) NCAA basketball team back in the day, so that'll make the pill easier to swallow. It's not like he's going to UM or UK. I wish him all the best, unless he's playing the good guys; in that case, I wish him at least four of these delivered by those good guys (but in ways that don't draw techs):

I have no doubt there will be several teams with serious interest in RJ. But what matters is that he ends up at a school where he can turly flourish. That may be a Middle Tennessee State vs a Tenneesee or perhaps vice versa. But don't for a minute that RJ will have several offers.

I too have no doubts there will be several teams interested RJ. Was just curious if there were some programs beginning to stand out ahead of others.

I think in most cases with P6 transfers, look close to home. Which in RJ's case, I'd expect something like Miami.

I did ask in the Coaching Carousel thread, if Alexander does get the Western Illinois job and we were able to lure Antigua back to Champaign, I wonder if RJ stays? They have that Caribbean connection and believe Antigua was his lead recruiter.

I'd personally love to have RJ back. Not sure there is anyone in the portal I'd take over him. He's got the ability. You can see it. He just needs to polish the rough edges and I think he's All Big Ten caliber.

Geunther was a mediocre AD with devastating stubborness. He ran off a HOF coach and acted like a prima-donna throughout his term. Underperformed.
