Even though we knew he was coming to the beloved out of high school, was ASU not the other team when he narrowed his list to two?
Why would he want to go to Tempe??

If I was a recruit … Probably a 0% chance I’m leaving uncommitted … 😂😂😂

Don’t think Slick Rick could even compete …
I knew 4-5 kids in high school who either went to Arizona or Arizona State. Every one of them transferred after a year or two because they were on the verge of flunking out. Just never had any motivation to go to class...wonder why?

Agree for the most part, Pru, but there are going to be some exceptions. For example, I will ALWAYS cheer for and follow a one year player like Terrence Shannon, Jr., (unless he ends up transferring to another team) because of his huge advocacy for the Illinois program and its coach. The same with Alfonso Plummer. These guys were transfers who earned my respect and support for their efforts for our Illini…
yes , I agree.....i should have made myself clearer , as I was referring to freshmen......thanks for pointing that out young lady........

I’m on a few different Illini Fan Facebook pages, and after Paxton announced he was leaving, there were many, many posts made by his dad on almost all of them about how unfair BU was to his son, and how his son should have played more minutes. He also sarcastically trash talked the new walk-on that since his family was a friend of BU, the new kid would get his son’s minutes. Some parents just don’t get it…
the new walk on is aj redd correct? or is there an even knewer one
