ok, I'm trying to keep it real. Right now if we lose Coleman & Shannon, and get our PG Ray-J. I see us as a mid B10 team then add 2 bonus positions for BU, we are working our butts off to meet last years expectations. Likely still in the dance, but at best we are looking a pause & reload year.
Please prove me wrong, it has been so nice play for B10 championships.

Purdue and Michigan St from my eyes seem to be the teams to beat for top 2 in BIG. I don’t know that we’ll be able to know where we fall as we have more moving parts currently than them. Somewhere 4-6 if we get CoHawk and TSJ both back.
I plugged RayJ, CoHawk, and Shannon in Bart Torvik last night for next season and we were 16 fwiw.

Surprised TSJ would return due to age and years post HS. NIL better than overseas?
If we get TSJ, Coleman and RayJ I would think we ate battlling for BIG. A line up of RayJ, TSJ, Goode, Coleman and Dain with heavy minutes for Sincere, Ty, Harmon Domask. That is a versatile lineup with many options.
There’s something to be said for continuity and culture. MSU, Purdue, Maryland and maybe OSU have the edge there. Talent matters, but last year’s team on paper didn’t exactly translate to the same level of success on the court we eager fans expected based on the roster. These projections are a fool’s errand this early on, but we do love to speculate.
I wanted to edit to state I have no doubt the staff knows what they’re building towards, especially with last season’s lessons and missteps in mind.

Did TJ get an invite?
I suspect NIL on a first year basis is going to be noticeably bigger than playing overseas.
Plus I’m sure he wouldn’t write off the idea that he can still improve his draft stock by coming back and addressing feedback and being on a top college team is surely higher exposure than playing overseas.
Last year’s list wasn’t revealed until around May 10th but I haven’t seen anything regarding him yet.

True. And nobody had Purdue nearly as good as they were. Projections are just an educated guess. Gotta play the games.
But we as fans have way too much time on our hands in the off-season
Last offseason, nobody had Purdue as #1. That’s why it’s healthier to step outside for a few months and enjoy the {insert your crappy version of spring weather} but we can’t because the dopamine hits of new recruiting information (real, imagined or fap fantasy) pulls us back in like Al Pacino.
