Not directly but indirectly if what I heard from some people is correct. This came from BP so its one side of the story so take it for what its worth. I watched a Santa Clara game where Brandin went off, 27 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 Steals if I remember correctly, if not, the numbers were close. Anyhow, during the game, the announcer talked about Brandin’s time with the Illini and the way the announcer put it, it did not go well with Brandin. Brandin was told by Brad to just stand in the corner and not move. Basically, if this is true, was one of the keys to BP leaving. Also, he saw Meyer, Shannon and the 4 freshmen coming in and he felt like he was not going to see time on the court. Anyhow, like I said, this is one side of the story and we will never hear the other side. Plus I think BP’s dad was not very happy as if memory serves me, he was on this board. It’s one of a number of kids who missed on one school and found treasure at another.
Small for snacking. Large for lasagna.back to cottage cheese! yes!!!

Curbelo was great (at times)The same people saying Podz was so great said the same thing about Curbelo.
How about if we stop saying recruited over like it was an inconsiderate error by BU. He should always be trying to recruit over
mommy, make it stop!

Podz was Mr Basketball in Wisconsin, not good at Illinois, suddenly a star at Santa Clara on their summer trip to Europe. Conference POY. You understand the questions, right? If people weren't trying to denigrate the young man the discussion would have ended yesterday.
Hot take, Podz is a really good player and obviously in hindsight would have helped this year but anyone who said they could have predicted this is lying.
He was good at times, never great.
C'mon man, he struggled the last two years and obviously has major issues, but you can't forget this gameHe was good at times, never great.
