I like that Shannon is saying guaranteed money or he’s back in school.
It'd be a terrible decision to not think this way returning to us aside.

With NIL = 1 year of guaranteed pay vs potentially no guarantee...it's a bit of a no brainer. You take the money on the table. The ole bird in hand theory

If he truly believes what he's saying regarding wanting a guarantee...he'll be back.

It’s admissions. Transfers are different than prep recruits. I can’t remember the exact thing but Michigan has some weird thing when it comes to transfers
I thought theirs were the same as ours, requiring 60hrs of credits at their university regardless of how many credits they had prior to attending, with the difference being our admissions office allowing for some exceptions for our athletes and theirs not? To be fair, i'm actually surprised we've made exceptions as historically our admissions department tended to go the other way until recently.

Hear me out… a few dominos in a row here but you only need the first one to fall.

RayJ commits. That’s the first domino. That’s the only one you need to fall. The rest will topple on over afterwards (CH and TSJ both come back).

Why would Caleb Love decommitting move the needle for RayJ Dennis (besides um desperation and some freed up NIL)?

They play different PG and SG, so it’s not like RayJ would replace him, or vice versa. Caleb does way better not being ballhandler. I think that Love being there would have been the higher sell for RayJ

Illinois requires 60 hours TO EARN A DEGREE. I'm guessing that TSJ planned to go pro after one year in which case he really didn't need a degree. If he drops out of the draft and returns to school he can likely get his 60 hours and his degree.
