Just in the few short clips I have seen, Dain is looking more explosive and jumper looked more smooth. Seems like he is really putting in work.

So by your own admission, 2nd round picks are not guaranteed any particular money like first round picks where there is a guaranteed two year contract (need for a good agent and bargaining is key for 2nd rounders and undrafted players). With the way NIL works in today's era, if you are not projected to be a guaranteed first rounder, it might be best to go back to college and take a higher guaranteed one-year NIL.

Of course there is the NBA rookie minimum for any 2nd rounder or undrafted rookie who is able to stick around in the league, but that minimum is much lower than some are likely to get in guaranteed NIL monies.

Nah. You’re not technically guaranteed to illini0440’s point but if you look at the first 5-10 picks in second round over past 10 years, vast majority get guaranteed 2 year deals north of $1M per year. We aren’t matching $1M+ and even if we are, still makes more sense to go. Shannon won’t risk it so if he’s not told he’s for sure getting drafted top 35-40, he’ll return. If a team says we’re definitely drafting you 35-40 then he probs goes NBA route

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are being sarcastic. If not, I would say you are probably better off staying off the board and just getting all your information from Piper and Werner.
