In the 70's people weren't on their phones looking at the internet when they had their girlfriend sitting right next to them. So it had that going for it. Maybe focus on her instead of policing a basketball forum?

Like I told the other guy, if that’s what you got out of that you need some SERIOUS help. She is watching Love Island which is a show she knows I hate, so she is completely fine with me being on my phone as she watches and as she just told me just now “I just appreciate you sitting here with me talking to me because I know you hate this show,” when I asked her if she was okay with me being on my phone.
So how about instead of policing my relationship, you stop defending disgusting comments about women 40 years younger than you.

Problem solved. And I haven't posted anything in the thread related to what you're talking about by the way...but my ability to scroll has helped me work through it.
And wait...is your girlfriend offended by talk about girls...while watching a show called LOVE ISLAND?? Never seen it but it sure doesn't sound like a show about nuns working their way through their first year at the convent.

If I was a betting man I would bet there was likely more than ONE cause. I mean right?
For instance…we had a veteran, NIL recipient, NBA hopeful…who decided in his infinite wisdom that it was a perfectly sensible, legit move as a team leader to pound energy drinks towards inducing a “caffeine euphoria” prior to an actual game. ??
With those kinds of personalities/lack of decision making skills it wouldn’t take a whole lot for things to go South of Normal….in this case Champaign…
