Bahahahahah. Serious?Even picking up mulcahy we are worse off there than with Epps.

If I squint really hard, I see a few guys who “could” eventually be NBA wings, but not with nearly the probability of TSJ. I wouldn’t give anyone else on the roster a better than 25% chance of sticking in the NBA as a 2/3.try squinting

Yup. You never really know. Sometimes catching on with the right team makes a big difference.Agree. That said, I give you Max Strus and Mychal Henry.
That's rich. You throw out 2 months as not too long to a board that has worn out their F5 keys.Well, the good news is that this can't go on too long. In two months, ...

Not many Illini had more than a partial season in NBA. Mulcahey was getting outplayed on the court so he resorted to a cheap move. That's the guy I want! Just win baby!Damonte was no angel and had a rep. Mulcahy knew his context and audience.
Derek Harper? Not many Illini had more than a partial season in NBA. Even less were NBA starters.
Great NBA career
- Deron Williams
- Kendall Gill
- Nick Anderson
- Eddie Johnson
long but only started couple season
- Kenny Norman
- Nick Weatherspoon
- Brian Cook
- Meyers Leonard
TBD
- Ayo Dosumu
- Kendrick Nunn
Of our current team Coleman, TSJ and Dain are probably best prospects but none of them have had college careers even close to the Illini listed above (excluding Kendrick's career)

I don't think you have to squint too hard honestly with the way the NBA is these days. Basically anyone with some length and shooting ability(Reeves wasn't even much of a 3pt shooter in college) is capable of playing in the NBA so it's not too far of a stretch to say Domask or Goode could end up playing a bit.If I squint really hard, I see a few guys who “could” eventually be NBA wings, but not with nearly the probability of TSJ. Before the flop warnings were a thing, Trent used to throw his head back if anyone so much as breathed in his vicinity. I’d put that and PM’s antics in the gamesmanship category.Count me among those who don't want a bush league player on the Illini. Never forget!
Booker got outplayed by a Purdue football commit on his high school team.I wouldn’t take Sissoko but I’d take Booker … I’d also take Key, Crowl, Julian Reese, and Derrick Walker …
But that’s just my opinion …
Really, Dude? Harper played 17 seasons, Pat Riley said he is the best player never to make an all star game, for his career he averaged of 13 points n 5 assists a game over 17 damn years we was amoung the best 400 or so players in the world! . Plus his teams were usually winning. You must not have seen Harp play. Dude was #2 behind Dwill and it isn't by much. Not many Illini had more than a partial season in NBA. Yes, Harper had an excellent NBA career. OP obviously completely forgot about him. I also think he’s underrating Norman who had a very solid NBA career. No way should he be in the same category as Meyers Leonard.Really, Dude? Relax, bud. Probably just an omission by mistake.Really, Dude? I disagree on that with you. Weber messed that up. If I was BU I would take a high school athlete like Meyers was with our staff over damn near anyone and I loved the Snake. Meyers was a freak and how that staff used his abilities and skill was a joke and a waste. Plus, in spite of that he was a lottery pick and later off the court he is being paid.Yes, Harper had an excellent NBA career. OP obviously completely forgot about him. Can’t remember their centers. Were they top notch. I think his troubles later in season was the combination of quality of B1G centers and there being a scouting report on him. Hopefully he’s throwing some new wrinkles into his game. While true overall, I seem to remember being really impressed with him in Vegas (against arguably our best competition all year).
